Wow LowRider, this is a really beautiful picture. In fact It kind of reminds me of something you'd see in the movies or something. That's a really big barn and an interesting ghost story.

The story more than made clear the title of 'Spirit' I am kind of a slow reader which distinctly allows my mind to dwell on one statement and wonder what comes next. Thanks for great story. This barn has a lot of roofing on it. and I like the side angle that steps us up with the snow to top. This angle also show the full view on the silo .

LowRider, although your note is far too long for my attention span, I admire the photograph a great deal. The wonderful exposure and focusing allows one to appreciate the fine colours and texture of the structures. Guess what? I do think it's cropped too tightly.
Peace, Papa

At this point you can almost do no bad in my book. Yet again another beautiful work, rendered correctly in color. I see a series developing and go with the flow.

Low Rider, this is a lovely image of a beautiful, peaceful place. The textural and color contrasts work very well together. Your story is touching and very well told. This is a fine tribute to what must have been a wonderful man.

Thank you skata!! Yep, I was on the side of the road, which is up hill. I used a 70-300mm tele-macro lens. I bet you could get as good if not better than your Dad if you have the interest!! Certainly worth a try!!

Spirit, what a nice title. After reading the caption, it is fitting. My question is, where is the fly swatter!!! LOL Had to throw that in there! There is a story and it tells of man who's life seemed to be this barn. Great photo and a nice story to go with it!!

This is a very detailed picture. I like how clear and sharp it is. It makes you cold just by looking at it. The clarity and composition is well done. Great job.
