Wow, pretty brave of you lowrider! If I had felt some kind of presence, I woulda been outta there so fast it would make your head spin! lol Great angle of the barn, showing majestic structure that has withstood all kinds of elements...great clarity, the colors are great as well! great work on this!

Wow, what a story! i can sure relate, having lots of spirits around me, seeing them next to people, ghosts in our cottage here... a beautiful photo, of a wonderful old building, and a really lovely story to boot! Great job, Myrt!

This is a very well done photograph, Deb. The snow is definitely white and that is not always easy. The exposure is right. The subject is clearly defined and there are no unnecessary elements in this photograph. Sound work.

Debbie, I do remember this photo from before, and I do believe I remarked on the aura surrounding it. However, this is really a much more detail view. You have such a unique ability to see the beauty in all life forms. Also, the exceptional gift of photographing what "once was" with the ever present aura that will always exist. People my die in body, but their spirit, soul, and mind lives on. Wonderful story writing...love your way with words :)

Deb, have you ever thought about writing a book to go with your shots. You have such an ability to get people to trust you, and tell you their stories. With the shots you take, and the story to go with it, I'm sure you could come up with something quite good. Beyond the story, this shot is very nice. You did a very nice job of exposure, the snow is white, but not blown out, and the dark areas have nice detail. The framing is good, it holds balance and weight, and there isn't anything distracting in the shot.

This is such a heart touching review shiv, I can't even begin to tell you what this means to me!! I am not a writer, although I very much enjoy telling about the wonderful people I meet, they are the story tellers, I just repeat. With this man, Shack, he said so much more than I relayed--Thank you ever so much!

At a glance I thought they were steps. Then when I really looked I could see the angle you took the photo in. An amazing story. The colours and detail are excellent and the focus and composition, great.

I find this interesting... I think it is the snow that adds a bit of interest to the shot. I like the framing of the subject and I think there are other angles that could work for this shot as well. Nice work - it has your style written all over it.

Well I can't fault you for the retry. The silo would have made the shot had it been wood...but you don't have control over that. Focus is clear; colors are good; the over all environment is great; the geometry of the photo is much much better with the silo.

This is a nice image, Debbie.
I think the lighting on this is a bit harsh leaving dark shadows along the bottom row of windows. The composition is wonderful. I love these old buildings and equipement that you find. You have a great eye for finding these things. Great work!
