I've never been on a hay ride. Always thought it would be fun. I like this picture. Wonderful capture of the high grass and the wild flowers. The trailer with the hay looks really cool. I like the whole composition. Excellent job!

They were a lot of fun, we would go at night, bunch of kid's, some adults, stop at the local market, get food and a pop, and just laugh. Thank you so much Vilma!!

Another great image! It brings back memories to me of a time when I was a kid and often spent my summer holidays playing around one of the local farms, building ourselves hides with the bails of straw. Lovely photograph!

Stop it with the age jokes. You are NOT old!

Considering the time of day and amount of shadow, this is very good. I am glad you gave it some foreground this time. A lot of memories can be tied into this photo for a lot of people. Nicely done.

Aw, com'on, LowRider, can;t you share a little of those memories. I realize this photograph as been recognized and at Five Stars, so my rating probably, and hopefully, will be tossed out and won't impact. But, I simply think it is too seriously underexposed and lacking in clarity to be considered a good one. Again, however, I do love the subject matter. Brings back memories for me as well of my youth on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. All innocent memories for me.
Peace, Papa

I have wonderful memories this evokes.
Nicely exposed and a great subject for photography.
The country folk just look at us like we're nuts when asking to photograph something like this; I just laugh and tell them "it's beautiful". Well done.
