Looks like life is hard...especially in our winter season. Are these trees actually black? If not, I'd like to see their natural color next time if possible. Land, tree, sky...good composition, nice color, a little too dark on the tree.

You never cease to amaze me petal,noe this one I am sure I could paint.Trees are a favorite topic for me as I am sure you realise by now,and barren ones have a superb stature to them.The contrast of the sky and trees is phenomenal.SUPER STUFF.

On first looked I saw that time have been tough on this tree. On second look I see a perfectly healthy that that adapted well. I have a thing for trees and think they all, especially the ones left to grow naturally, have character. Good silhouette against the sky and snow.

You have certainly captured a gem here. Your focus and detail are excellent.
