Good composition, excellent motive, gives me the deja vue effict, as I've known the beautiful calm ladscape and the farm, manbe the left edge is too sharp, the fence is not the whole, but the center of the photo is not damaged.
great

What a difference a season makes ! Always like to view images of rural farmland. Framing is well composed with good coloration. The fence seems to be cut off at the left a little but no big deal. Another neat image LowRider.

This is a very nice photograph, I think the clarity of the image is very good and the color turn out is great. I believe that if backed up a bit you would have framed in the complete fence to avoid the fence ending after the cut off of the image pulling the eyes that way and maybe taking a little more off the sky.. overall this is very well done.. thank you for sharing.

Great photo lowrider. I like the white barn just offset to the right side, which makes you kinda follow fence line and mountains.

The mountains look as if they are black coal.Is this a mining scene? I love the desolation of this photo. The stark dead grass with the last remnants of snow.I would love to see it in the spring.

Not bad, I quite like this. I always enjoy rural scenes. There's a lot of detail in this that the sample doesn't do justice towards.

Thank you very much John! It really did amaze me how just the little bit of snow made a huge difference from the summer shot.

good use of a polarizing filter, and boy! the snow really does give the landscape so much more depth! a very nice shot, debbie!

There are some pictures that might not strike a person as inspiring until one sees them maybe printed larger or up close to get a good look at the detail. This picture just doesn't do much for me, but I'm willing to be the especially small format you uploaded has something to do with it. Do you have a 600x400 sized image you could put up?

I'm not quite sure I recall the springtime picture, but I have seen some similar photos from you in terms of composition, right down to the barn on the lower right hand corner. Try experimenting with more angles and perspectives to give your shots more personality. While they are all very nice to look at (and I mean it), I'm betting that there's a jewel just waiting to be shot by somebody that has your photography skills, because more often than not, the angle we didn't think of shooting is the one that yields the prizewinner. I know this from shooting with my wife, who always manages to find the more interesting angle despite my pictures being technically better.

At 600 pixs I would have had to lower the quality more than desired. Yes, I have experimented with different angles, usually I take 3 frames of each shot, different angles, some end up with so much 'crap' to crop, throwing the balance off. It would be great to get my kid shooting the same subject to see what he comes of with though! Great idea!!! Thank you rga!!

I would love to see a larger version of this, because the details look amazing!! (Don't buy the larger version, I don't need to see it that bad ;-) I really like the framing. This again has all the detail it needs, with nothing distracting. Your choice of background really gave the shot a wonderful sense of depth. The only thing I see, is that you might have cropped the bottom up just a touch, to get rid of that line in the grass at the very bottom right. Ok, I realize I am just nit picking now!!

No, certainly not nit picking at all!!!!!!!! I considered that, I thought, does it add too or take away, couldn't decide so left it-- It really amazed me the difference of the summer photo and this one, much more detail in the landscape with the snow I think.
