I really like the scene captured, the image seems off balanced, with the brance breaking through on the right of the photo. The photo does a great job portraying the cold, isolate, almost wintery atmosphere.

I like this tree. It shows the weathering of the elements and says something about the geography. I can almost feel the wind blowing. The background seems a little diffuse. This has character.

missingangel, looks like a magnificent view in this image, and I think the idea of including the tree in the foreground is good. But, that small, single branch sticking in at top-right is obtrusive, and the photograph is somewhat over exposed. Nevertheless, a good effort.

This is an excellent shot although it could be a little bit sharper, the one twig coming in the right hand side should have been removed but overall the angle seem really nice and the mist over the montains is nice too. :)
