You get 5 stars because it's not only a good photo but also a great story! Amazing how our yearning for a good shot can turn into an adventure, keep chasing those photos!

absolutely gorgeous
the mountains the crisp fresh air the shabby old hut and yet a sense of warmth and homely feeling
your composition and sense of belonging was portrayed to me in this shot
as lonely it appears to be in the middle of no-where, you can still call it home
love it
thanks

I don't know what is more outstanding-the photo or the story leading up to it. I love the old house and the windmill, but telling the story gave it so much more. Thank you for both.

Wow! The story is an inspiration...how very interesting, and truly a blessing.
The picture is marvelous, the colors are splendid! Hard to believe he lives in that small place yet it is nice at the same time. The All that you have captured here!

I dont know if it was the story or the photograph but this is so touching. THe old man with such tragedy in his life..you probably made his day stopping by like that. Great job!

Awesome story!!!! This old cabin is pretty cool! I like the pic, but I don't love it. Artistically, it isn't the best. However, I'm very glad you shared the cool experience with us. :)

Now that is an interesting story. Such a quaint looking cabin too. Nice natural lighting and great colors. You always compose them nicely.

Bringing the light of laughter, and the treasure of company to those who have secluded themselves from the World, is a great way to bring the day to an end. Glad you were able to capture the place where all this took place; should've set another meeting in the future up-possibly inspire the writer with your photos. Great shot here-Orion008.

Oh you got me with this one! Not only the photo but the story. The cabin was endearing enough, but by the time I got to the end of your notes, it had taken on a life of its own. Such a great talent and a talen for seeing something not everyone else sees. What an honor to share in that talent! Thanks so much for your insight, caring, and ability to sort out the extra ordinary from the ordinary! Love to have you stop by and share your insight and wisdom sometime! (((((hugs))))) from sweetnote!
