Thank you Stanbo. She was moving her arm to control an interactive fountain. The lighting was from the fountain.

This is a very good photo, although I think the hand movement is unfortunate and has caused a motion blur. I am also finding that it should have been cropped down a bit due to the dark surroundings it creates alot of empty space in front of the child. Very nice photo though, thank you for sharing :)

ps work is quite obvious. This picture could be so much better is there were a little more focus. Well, I know children move very quickly and you weren't lucky enough to be able to use a faster shutter speed!

Tracymax, Hmmmm you have me wondering...what PS work is obvious? Do you mean the bg being blurred and darkened?
She is is motion, and since this is an interactive fountain that she is controlling with her hand, I thought that was an important part of the picture.

The lighting in this shot is very well done, on the other hand the blur from her hand takes away from the subject and is very distracting. Keep up the good work

Joluany, I also like the light. It was at night with the only light coming from the fountain. Sorry you're distracted by her hand in motion. :-(
