Technically, this is an absolutely great photo. The color contrast is great. The focus and depth of field is truly good. The subject matter is good. The framing is not what I would have done, but, I do think you captured what you had in mind. Personal preference should not be part of the review. You did a great job, even if it does not grab me. Job well done.

Thank you very much gold!! I did take 3 additional frames, but this one had the most impact to me, may post one of the other in a couple of weeks.

Great shot of the Engine. It fills the frame well and shows a lot of the detail on the front. Nice exposure. I can hear the horn from here.

Oh WOW - this is such a great shot. I love trains. This shot is portrait - like. The angle of the shot really emphasizes the strength and power of the engine. You have captured through you wonderful photograph skills, the colors and details of a truly impressive piece of machinery. Very well done

This is a nice shot, Debbie! Love the color and how it fills the frame. I think if you brought the contrast up just a hair it would really pop and brighten the colors. Looks like it may be just a hair blury too but that can be fixed by sharpening it just a bit. Over all a very nice photo.

Thanks blended! Is your monitor optimized for images, because this is very sharp on mine (LCD monitor) and has brilliant color?

Wow...what an awesome photo of a mighty train. Love the focus, clarity, and vibrant colour. Only Lowrider could come head on with such amazing machinery :) Wish we had trains like this here in India :)

Neat LowRider the way you framed front of train. Can relate to trains was a hobby of mine many many years ago. Unfortunately I sold all the collectable trains I had. Wish I had them today, would be worth mucho dollars. Framing, coloration outstanding.
