They are so lovely, a big guy and a small buddy. I like the sharp clear focus over these 2 dogs which I can see all details. The lighting is perfect and their posts are excellent. The background you made it really enhance the photograph. Nice work and good luck for the contest.

What a lovely capture of these two gorgeous dogs. Lighting and focus very good showing excellent detail in their markings and colours. I like the painted effect in the background. They do look the best of mates. Very nice composition.

Its a beautifull composition i would say. this picture speaks itself, care,unity, love and affection, and how comfortably they both are sitting, i like the idea to turn the background in painting, but it need a bit more adjustment, try to clone highlighted spots as they are mixing with the dog. Overall its a beautifull shot with good lighting and clarity. Well done and all the best for the contest.

I changed the picture, Would you have another look please.
Is that enough or should I make the whole area above the dogs head black? I would move the gray spot above the dogs back otherwise the background would be to much the same.

Its much better, but do blur it a little bit. It would be fine.
