To cute! What a great shot! They look like they are real buddies to! Nicely done with the capture of the 2 of them together like this. Very priceless shot!

Thank you so much. Yes they are buddies. You should see if little Toby tries to protect old Sam.

This is really so cool, they look as if they were watching over each other:) Wonderful composition, most beautiful colors and lighting, and I like the background you have created. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for the contest.

Thank you so much for your generous review and the wishes. they are watching out for each other. Can you imagine how it looks when little Toby tries to protect old Sam? On the other hand he will hide behind Sammy each time he get himself in trouble. Thanks for liking the background and telling about. That is an experiment what probably cause some controversy.

The dogs look great however, the background looks like there are dirt clobs on the photo. The white below the big dogs head is very distracting and does take away from the photo.

Thanks for your kind and helpful review.
Thew picture is a experiment more similar to Mixed Media before the digital when different objects including photos were glued to painted backgrounds. The background is a digital painted version to hide the original of the photo what was very cluttered and distracting but left basically the original color except for darkening. Maybe I should have painted a complete different background? What you think? I'm not sure. I have another version where the background isn't dark but liked this one better. If you wan't to see the other version I will place it in my portfolio for you.

This photo of the dogs is great, just the background needs improving. Yopu can post as you said and I will check it out.

The other background is painted too. I don't have the original photo with me since I am not home at the moment. I put the other version in my portfolio for the original you have to wait till I'm home.
    Thanks Cleo
