Excellent piece. I just love the very soft and relaxed scene you bring out here. The great details in some areas make this for a very interesting choice.

Can't make up my mind if I really like it or just love the colors. This is very colorful however, I'm not into the hocuc pocus stuff. You do super work and I don't know why you need to change a photo into art. Great colors. SORRY!

I know you don't like Hokus Pokus but that is a Mixed Media contest. I can't post photos for that. It's really not to much I did with this one but to increase the textures and paint the eyes.On the other hand is fun to do it because I'm not grown up jet. I still love fairy tales. This here is one. If I tell Andersen's "Mother of Lilac" or "Thumbelina' using these pictures to some of the neighbor kids, or put a book for them together, they identify easily with their heroes. It's as if they life right with them if they see the picture and find the flower they never paid attention before in their own garden.
Photography, Mixed Media and Painting are three different arts for me. The exist beside each other. Everyone of them say what the artist want to tell in their own way. It's like the difference between Painting and Photography or even the difference between Photography and Digital Photography. Non of it will ever replace the other as Movie didn't replace Theater or TV didn't replace Movie. [By the way I had people asking me why I do photography because I paint too.]
I never do an Mixed Media to improve a photo for beauty. I do Mixed Media to create something new, what wasn't there before to tell a new story or give a message. I don't think that anybody would think of enviroment and protection for the planet if I would have posted the sunset and the wathef fosset and a clock seperat. It would just be photos. By combining them as in "Time is running out" I can give the message I want to give. In this case it is much like the classical photomontage, artists did long before the digital age.
Sorry for fanning out but you ask why I do artwok.
    Regards Cleo

Great photo. Has a double meaning.
Beautiful flower but it also looks like a peacock with a duck face.
Very interesting work and I love the colors.

Thank you for your generous review. Many people see all kinds of birds in there. It is the original flower center. I only added the eyes.

Thank you for your generous review.
You write "is looks a lot like art" do you mean it doesn't look like a photo?
It is not a photo but a photo based Mixed Media with changed textures and painted parts.

Thank you so much for viewing. I like your bird idea and the idea of traveling minds. Somebody else said the center looks like a turkey.
