I think you did a great capturing the 'not knowing how to play it', the background singles this out very nicely, and accentuates this with the broken string. It almost borders on an abstract feel. One idea is: with the strings being thick in the image to add some shadow to them as well. You have two light source areas, the top left and from the viewer's point of view, which is what brings the abstract feel to light. It depends on what feeling you were looking for. Nice work, though :)

    Thanks for the comment. I will take in consideration the shadowing on my future works. You know Im barely starting with my art classes, but this comments will help me to learn more about painting.

this is a nice abstract piece. The composition is nice and simple. The colors work well. For some reason it just doesn't grab me. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

    I dont know what you mean by that, for me is just an expression, I wanted to show that I can't play guitar but at the same time they are my favorite instrument. Anyways, I still thank you for your honest comment.

I think this is excellant, it captures that feeling we have all had in our lives towards musical instruments at some stage, both warm yet frustrating, wonderful piece
