pretty color..but the definition of flower not coming
through and the blur, doe not add too much..cant tell
what kind of flower this is..green helps in contrast..

I wasn't trying to get the flower. I was just getting the thorny stem.

Love the pink flowers. The focus is good I would liked to have seen the flower in the foreground a little more clearer. I liked the lighting as well. The green is not drowned out but the light. Nice shot

thanks.. It's hard to get a good close up with the lens I used though. I used a 35-80mm... So I couldn't get as good shot as I could with a macro. Thanks for the input...

Beautiful picture. I gather you are going after the thorny stem but I would have preferred to see you focus on the flower as the color is quite vibrant. Nice composition. Well done.

Thanks..... I was trying to get the stem rather than the flower. I couldn't get as good shot as I wanted cause all I had was a 35-80mm lens. I really needed a macro for this type of shot, but I can't afford that right now. I'm just making do with what I have. Hopefully when I do get a macro; I'll be awsome at nature shots.

The composition and coloring of this shot are woderful. It just seems to be in focus on the spiky branch. and that doesn't seem quite right. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks, I was trying to get the spiky branch. Usually everyone takes shots of the flower itself and I thought it would unique to focus more on the stem. Especially since it had all the little spikes all over it.

I love the deep colours and dark tones. if the foreground flower were a bit more in focus...(but then you would lose the detail of the stem). a little fill reflector might have helped delineate the petals more.

Beautiful colors and compliment colors used here. You have lost or cropped out a lot of the subject itself though on the right so your center focal is off. Overall good effects and great detail
