The subject matter is obviously quite lovely as is the composition.; The lighting is a bit off as it is a bit bright but nothing beats curiosity in a baby for a great picture. You did a great job with both the picture and your baby.

The colors are nice and bright and the focus is good. Sorry but I'm not a big fan of posed shots. This looks like it was taken in a studio. It would make a nice Christmas card for your family.

Thanks!! I guess it was sort of posed - I was doing exactly what you said - I was trying to get a cute shot for the Christmas card. But, when I gave her that pinecone we kind of went from "posed" to "candid". I'll take your comment about it looking like it was taken in a studio as a huge compliment! Thanks :-)
