The black and white that you chose for this picture actually made me think of an old adobe style house, I totally didn't see "water drain pipe" in this image until I read your description of the piece. Nice lines, good framing, good composition, in focus and good contrast. Very interesting to look at.

I like black and white. However I think the background is so dark and the arm coming down is so bright. And the trees up at the top are very blurred out. Would be nice if there was some actual water running or some sort of action in it.
