Oh boy - what an incredible photograph. Where I live, all you see in the neighborhood are dogs and the occasional skinny squirrel. These guys are terrific. The shot is so clear you can see the whites of their eyes. I really enjoyed this piece. Exceptional work

Wonderful capture, Debbie. It's not an easy task to get a good exposure when photographing buffalo. You have done a great job. Nice composition as well!

LowRider, fair or unfair as it may be, I do think this a very good photograph of two magnificent beasts. The image is well composed, appears well focused and your exposure allows one to appreciate some wonderful shades of brown on the hide of the animals. There is a major flaw, however, in my opinion, in that there is next to no detail to be seen on the animals' faces. Fill-in flash might help in such a situation. However, this is just my judgment, of course. And, it's really a matter of judgment rather than fairness.
Peace, Papa

LOL!! Funny you should say that, I wanted to get a head shot, but these two ganged up and kept coming towards me, not wanting to be a buffalo beanie baby, I scrammed! I am not afraid of much, but I am also not real stupid!!!

You captured the beautiful color and detail of the buffalo's fur. I love the contrast of the white ground with patchy grass, dark "beasts" and the bit of mountain in the back. The horns just pop out too! Very nice...I bet youlive in Colorado!!!

Oh oh, this is really a good shot. The two animals are very well taken, so close. Even when I though you use a telephoto, any way you should got closer enough to make this close up. The tone of the grass and land give a very nice background that reinforces the strength of the two animals.

Very well done
