I love this one. Its so lemon fresh and the pastel colors give you that summer feeling right away. Lovely initial impact. Choice of colors is lovely. The textures and smooth lines are soft and gentle and the lemon yellow is superb in the mix.

Execellent choice for beach scene. Colors are well mixed with good saturation. Like the way you have the beach umbrella and chair situated for the appeal or interest. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent work, Cleo. It looks like a traditional piece. Great brush work. Excellent job on the sand, water and sky. I like the little touches you added to the beach and the chair, umbrella and book are perfect. Composition and colors are excellent. You did an excellent job in ArtRage! Love the thought you had here and the title is perfect for this. Your painting says so much without a soul in sight. A nice secluded beach is so rare no matter where you go these days. I wish you super luck in the contest!! A beautifully thought out piece and well done:)

Thank you for your throuought and thoughtful review and the wishes. That is my 'dream beach' even very rear down here. Actually it's a mix of our beaches. Our lonely and almost virgin of from the tourist trait are to narrow and stony to put umbrellas and chairs there [who like to hike with that stuff anyway]. The few sandy beaches have tourists our weekenders most the time.

Thank you so much John. Yes thats a boat out there. I imagine a fishing boat. The umbrella resembles the beach umbrellas common down here, made with palm leafs or reed grass.

This is really nice Cleo. Hard to imagine that it was painted electronically. Very cool. Soothing and realistic. I like the texture in the sky and the yellow in the umbrella and the book.

Thank you so much for your generous review. ArtRage is a beautiful program, like traditional painting without the mess of having the paint everywhere.

A lovely peaceful seaside setting. Nobody there so much have gone for drinks. I love your movement of the rolling sea. The boat on the horizon gives great depth. Tide must be going out or the book would float out to sea. I really like it. Sandy

Lovely review Sandy, right on. Thank you. Yes tide is going out at the moment. You won't believe how much stuff we find in the water if the tide is coming in. The tourists never learn. [Ha ha]

I can just imagine as I grew up at the beach all most. People would put things on the beach go in swimming and forget about the tide coming in and then were horrified that everything was soaked. They still do it today. They never learn. Sandy

Right, it's still the same ...:-)

Nicely done with this. The umbrella really shows up nicely here. The overall composition is presented really well and your technique with the digital painting on the blank canvas has made this a good eye appealing image.

I love your seascape it is so very uniquely done. Your color harmony is beautiful. The textured look is outstanding.

Your creative presentation, lighting, technique and center of interest leaves an initial impact with an artistic story telling ability.
