Very nice shot and a good imagination. It does look like a big mushroom. The depth of field is excellent. Look like you can see for ever. Nicely done

I just was reading an article on Ansel Adams shots. The three zones theory and the importance of sharpness. I think that you are using his technique very well. I only (maybe) would have a bigger subject in the first zone to enhance movement of the picture. What do you think? Would it work?
And by the way, from your portrait, I don't think that you are old.

Thank you JACIRO!! Yes, the rule of 3rd's, sure it would work! This rule works to bring overall balance to a photo, if in balance it has greater appeal. It is kind of like, pick your subject then move the view finder right, left, up, down, and find what compliments your subject most, keeping in mind, if it doesn't add to your subject don't include it. Hope this makes sense!

Is it really a mushroom? Nahh! Too big. Great eye for capturing an interesting landscape. Of course the clarity is excellent as well as the composition. Excellent job!
