debbie dolittle--you have captured her essence with this photo.Only deer I had a chance to get close to were the dead ones I found and took photos of(debating on whether or not to post) well done. There was someone my brother saw at a outdoor show selling photos of deer for 50 bucks and up.
You are truly talented my friend.

Very nice framing on this subject. I think the surroundings compliment the subject and I don't see anything distracting. The pose works well also. Great job.

Thank you jnxs! I liked the natural background and also felt it would add to the shot instead of take away because of the character involved.
Comment from angel on a dark path
This one was a tough one..i like the composition and focus..since it is tough to capture deer up close. but the lighting is harsh and the overall image looks highly sharpened....so that does detract a bit. The background is so detailed that it makes it tough for her to stand out.

You capture an elegant lady posing exclusively for you. The photo is excellent since you got the attitude of attention of the animal, and not only a shot. Composition is god adn the subject superb. Congratulations.

Interesting story about the energies andcongratulations on your capture. It was worth the wait. because this is great.
her position is perfect and it is nice that she isn't looking right at you... it has that "she doesn't realize you're there look" and that is great.
thankyou for thewonderful shot

Excellent Shot, it really captures the moment, has me nearly imaging that I am seeing this 'live'. Not an easy subject to photograph at any time but this is simply outstanding!

Awww, what a sweet story! Congrats on finally capturing this creature on film! :) I think the busy branches right behind her are a little distracting, but not too much. Your subject is clear, and her pose is perfect, with her ears perked and everything. Very nice! :)

If you keep her as a pet dog you can pretend she is an over grown Chihauhau.
Neat how you captured her to photograph, I try myself to capture deer or doe but they move so darn fast. Really love this image, the only thing I thought was that it's something not right with the focus can't really pin point it but all in all Great image.

Comment from MaureenS
The pose is excellent! She is framed nicely by the bushes in the rear. I think there is a little oversharpening that made the image a little grainy. Also, I like the lighting from the side, but would like to see a little more detail on her face. You could easily do that by using a dodge tool.

Thank you very much Maureen!! I know next to nothing about using tools--just haven't had the time to sit and learn yet.
