Good Luck training this to be your dog, look like his attitude can match yours.lol what a beautiful creature. The lighting is very harsh, especially on the left, but the clarity really overpowers that, nice shot. Dog or venison?

Capturing wildlife is so very risky and difficult to do. I have not been very succussful with mine. I like the way you have it framed. The white background did not do you any favors either.

After 5 years of checking each other out she might let you hitch a sled up for a trip to the mailbox;) A fine looking Ms. Shank and so glad you finally got a really nice photo of her.

Low Rider, you caught such a pose with this beaut. She looks so friendly, so well-kept by all those that feed her and don't frighten her. Very lovely shot:)

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I'm not sure if she has that menacing presence to scare off intruders much. This is a good framing of Ms. Shank, suprisingly no males were following right behind. The quality of the shot though makes it look like it was "sharpened" to death, not a smooth look; but very raspy. The lighting on the other hand was right on-Orion008.

I think this is a really good shot, you caught her at the right moment, and it turned out really well. I think the reason why people might think its overexposed is because of the snow. That's understandable. When I used to live in West Veriginia, every year there was a new fawn, and it would be with it's mother, and she'd be with her mother and so on. The last I remember there was 6 gerations of female deer runing around together in the same area. Now I live in Myrtle Beacth, SC and the deer here only come out at night during the summer and graze by the highway 17 by-pass.

Thank you so much uni!! That is neat! I would miss the deer greatly if I couldn't see them most every day!!

This is a great shot, Im glad you kept trying after 5 years! Looks like something you would see in Field and Stream (or any of those other hunting magazines my dad used to read when I was little!) Good job!

I think this is a great shot. Sorry to hear about Ruger. I know how dogs can be so much like family. Thats weird about the feelings you get and the things showing up on the film. Great shot of her anyway!

She is quite a beauty! I get those same kind of "eerie" pictures occationally at the Gettysburg Battlefield around "Devils Den"...strange.
This photo is very sharp of "Ms Skank" and her surroundings look great!
