This has a vaguely oriental look to it despite the fact that one does not normally associate coconut trees with that part of the world. I think it must be the bird profiles without detail to them. Anyway I like it and thanks for showing.

The red colors are beautifully composed. The silhouettes look artsy.
The reflections on the water, and some white tips on the flowers... they look great.
There is sth melancholic about it, and the title, which can be interpreted literally or the other way around, gives another choice for explanation. Change, even the one we most long for, has its price...

I love the deep red colors, with the black. It creates such a impact, all the details in the picture keep me looking into picture, and seeing others little details.Very nicely done, great center of interest, with the touch of yellow.Good Harmony, and Technique.

wow, shawn, this is so very beautiful. i love the colors and the whole concept of your piece. the lighting is exceptional in both the sky and the reflection. the birds are wonderful and they are a great center of interest. i love the crane on the land and the trees too. the little fireflies are great you deserve a six for this but i had used up the meager amount of them. well done.
