A great portrait trully. The choice of B&W was a right one as it underlines the emotion talking of which i love the emotional impression and impact of this picture. Joy with a tear is a maximum joy. Nicely detailed and exposed.

That is a lovely picture of the little girl. She has such an expressive smile on her face. The lighting and contrast are good, and the focus and detail are just right.

Wonderful shot, Cleo!
I LOVE your story. You are doing a great job helping all those children that need help the most. What better way to celebrate Christmas than knowing that you make other people happy?! Well done!

Highly emotive picture and story line.Like how your subject fills the frame and it works well in mono.Your focus and exposure are good and the captured expression makes this a wonderful piece to present and thanks, mick

Other than being a little off centre this is an abosulutely brilliant shot. You have captured the expression in her eyes so well. The focus is sharp, especially on the little 'twirls' of hair on her forehead. Certainly an emotive picture.

Thank you very much. I dislike to center portraits. It is framed account to the rule of thirds.

What a beautiful photograph and equally beautiful story to go along with it. I wish we had something like this in Mazatlan. Maybe we can start planning to do this next Christmas. Great entry for the contest too. I sincerely wish you all the best.
