The colors are nice but it seems a little crudely drawn. The hair stands out strongly to me, this is the best part of it. Also the crooked scan detracts from it.

Need to work on a little more texture and detailing in the face as well as proportion on the hand. The thought is good, you have talent, just keep working at it, it'll come.

Sarastar16, I am afraid I see this as almost amateurish. The manner in which you have rendered the hair is good, but the squaring of the jaw and hand is unappealing. Also, the proportions seem off. She appears to have a very short arm and a hand that's too long. Finally, she seems to be jamming the flower into her nose. This sounds rather harsh, as I reread it, but it does represent what I see.

I like the colors on this. I think that the cropping could have been a little bit better so that you could see it more clearly. I would have like to seen more expression on the girls face. The hair was nicely done.

Thank you very much. The cropping was a real problem because the image was at first too large and I fixed about 100 times and it wouldn't work right. I apologize for it like this but, hey, i'm no computer whizz ! :D

Sarastar16, crop your image after scanning, or check your settings when resizing. I think what you may have inadvertently done here is increase the canvas size instead of the image size. When this images loads, all I see is a white background. I have to scroll down to see your image. :)

thank you...I'm sorry it's like that. I took a picture of it and I tried to fix it but it just wouldn't work. I got really frusterated and this is the best I could get it. I cropped it, that's why you see the white. I tried to transfer it to another page without all the white but it comes out as the wrong file type and when i change it you can't see the picture but thank you for the advice. i really aprciate all the help i can get!
