Can't argue with anything you said, but your stupidity captured a really great shot ;-) Really great job. The purple sky against the black of the barn are a great effect.

I have always wanted to take pictures like you have here. This is an excellent capture of lightning. You can almost see the power of the lightning in your picture. Very nice job

something is brewing out there..great catch, AND
the darkened background gives it that extra
stormy flavor...bringing your story to life again..

This is a really cool looking photo! I like the color tones as well and the lightning really makes everything outlined well! Excellent shot!

Beautiful flash of Mother Nature at work. I love the silouhette of the houseing, the trees and the powerlines. The purple hued skies really add a passion to the ambiance of this storm you captured on film. Amazing.

A bit more captured detailing in the house would accentuate the flat impression of the black and give depth to the overall perceptions. Interesting approach...and I'm glad you fared the storm.

The lightening strike capture is amazing and beautiful. Just wish you had caught it without the powerlines in it. Be careful, there's not supposed to be any humans harmed during the making of these images...oh wait that's america's funniest home videos! Keep working at it!

Near perfect. Great capture, but you have to rotate this counter clock wise to take the right hanging lean out of all your verticals and horizontals. The posts, roof, steeple.
