niam, hey, Larry King almost looks "live" in this portrait! This is certainly an admirable effort and a good likeness, although not as representative of the real thing as it might be. I find the hair, for example, to look "forced", unnatural and the mouth to be somewhat weak. Nevertheless, a challenging project and you did well.

This is an excellent portrait, however I really am not sure that it looks so much like Larry King, unless I am missing something. someting with the features just dont seem quite right. The detail is absolutely wonderful and it is a sharp looking portrait, with excellent color. :)

Fantastic crafting of oils, lighting and defining of features to create a likeness of Larry King. You captured the expression in his eyes and mouth positioning to lend him character. The proportionment of his shoulders and the angle of his collar seem a bit off in angle. His face, however, has a real lifelike quality to it with your textures and colors.
