Although your model looks pretty enough, I had to open the photo in photoshop to increase the brightness enough to see her. After doing that, the face that I saw was full of grid shaped artifacts commonly found with a jpg file that has been saved at a very low resolution then increased in size. My monitor, though calibrated properly and with a high end graphics card, was unable to allow me to view the image online even at it's brightest setting. Also, a lot of people will not change the settings (which are as varied as there are monitor types), if they have taken an hour to get it properly calibrated between printer and scanner. I apologize for such a low mark, but your image should be displayed in so that the viewer does not need to "adjust their set" as they'd say, to view it. A unique experiment, kind of like typing an email with white letters on a white background, but I think it's one of those trial and error things that you'll need to approach differently next time.
I hope this was helpful.

Shows up perfectly fine on my color-calibrated display - Interesting, I can see just a hint of blush on her cheeks. I would have cropped this down a bit though, too much emptiness.

Sorry but my brightness was as far as I could go and still no luck. I must say, I am quite envious of those that were able to see it.

I took my brightness all the way up and still saw nothing but black. What can I say? This sucks in any way you want to see it. You have not taken the viewer into account. Frivolous tricks and clever use of a back screen will never outdo great work. Concentrate on the work, not cleverness in concept.

This is quite lovely a sort of sleeping picture, we are looking at it on a screen when you see the real thing is it easy to see the face?
I like it very subtle a very clever way to show a portrait.

This is an interesting peice. It certainly makes you look deep into the picture, and the image does have a ghostly quality. I'm still not sure I like it, but can't place why.

at first i thought it was joke . but i see it wasnt . proablly would have made it a little lighter and showed a little bit of a pillow corner would have gave it somewhat more of an enviroment instead of floating in the air.
