Little confused as to why this shows up on the photography page but...
It is an original idea and it is executed pretty well. Good impact and visual interest.

Thank you, It shows up on the photo page because it is mostly photography. Pictures including any part of photo are usually listed in the photo and not allowed at the art page. My picture is an Mixed Media, basically a collage as in traditional photography, were different things are added into an basic photo. Here the swans, the sun catcher and the background are from the basic photo taken from my window. The flowers are roses from a other photo copied into the basic photo. The rest is digitally painted into the photo. I have posted the original photo in my portfolio to clear the confusion[no ratings or reviews but comments possible]. May you have a look at is. I hope this answered your question.

Looking through the romantic artwork this evening, your picture caught my eye and gave me an immediate smile and warm feeling. Your content is very telling of the failed attempt fo a male swan to impress the lady with baubles who is perhaps saying no just to see what more will be forthcoming. I like the manipulations you've taken digitally with your original work. In particular, I like the way you have placed the jewels around the swan's neck and the way she sits upon what could be imagined as the biggest diamond her man could find. Your distinct colors are a terrific contrast to the completely shadowed images of the "main characters" of the piece. Great work. I wish you good luck in your contest!

Thank you so much for your throuough review. You are excellent in reading the symbols here. The biggest diamond of the world is right on. It is actually the sun catcher she sits on in the original photo. It's right too she got all the bubbles, but look what he brings now: A flower. May he does have a feature...

I like this very much Cleo. Great composition. Your added flowers give great warmth to the pretty black swans. Love the little necklace you've given the gal. Great storytelling.

Lovely romantic image. I especially like the male swan presenting the female the red bloom. The swan silhouettes work perfectly as positioned. Wonderful blue water. She looks great on the faceted crystal complete with her necklace. The limbs, flowers and butterflies look great as does the background. Perfect for this piece. Great composition and impact. The best of luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

That is a lovely mixed media fantasy picture. You certainly have a vast amount of skill to produce this, I love the gem by which the swans are standing. The colors are great.

Thank you very much. The 'gem' is actually a sun catcher and is part of the original photo.

Looks like a Chinese style of art. I like the silhouette idea. The branches and swans go well together and the red flowers are evenly dispersed around the image so they don't draw too much attention away from the swans. The blue water is pretty and the strong blur is good for the background although I'm not sure about the color.
The sun catcher is a colorful jewel-like object but feels a little out of place for me, but of course this is fantasy land here right.

Thank you so much for your throuough review. The swan silhouettes the sun catcher and the background are from the original photo. [I have it placed outside the ratings in my portfolio. Have a look if you are interested] The swan lady, a little metal sculpture, is sitting on the sun catcher originally.
