What a lovely bloom with its red and white variations of detailing. The dark background creates a rich backdrop for those remaining green crowns that held the spent petals behind your focal flower, however is too dark as an accent to the main floral which could use sharper defining with focus, maybe even a little more lighting. The upper, bell-shaped, mostly red flower to my right would have been a great accent to this centralized flower if they were both less spent. I can only imagine they were incredible in their prime and when first blooming.

Good focal point. However, the flower seems a little wilted. The center is past its prime and the edges seem to droop. This seems to be a hybrid. The brilliant red and white are alluring, but the violet edging detracts and negates this effect.
Try putting several lesser flowers of the same type near the main blooms to give it depth and interest.

I like the set up of this shot and it is a very beautiful flower, but I don't know if it happened during the uploading or not, but it is not very clear. It looks like you might have zoomed in too much and therefore lost the clarity. Would love to look at it again if this got cleared up.
