I rather like your upload. Nice colour palette of blues, serene and contemplative pose of your grandfather and the image is sharp. Well positioned into the frame. I would clone out that intrusion that is coming into his back to make a stronger shot and a dodge to the face would pop him out more, but overall it's a good shot.

You considered the side placement and that shows us your effort. Good work.

A nice portrait of your grandfather with a background that's probably a nice reflective complement of his personality with those rich blue tones, verdent green fields and endless aqua blue sky. What a great atmosphere to capture his profile, not to mention a beautiful place to get lost in on a fishing trip.
