I see why the fairy is tired, he did a great job of decorating. Everything seems to be ready for spring truth it looks as if there are some little helpers, a hummingbird and butterflies giving the last color touch to the scene.
The tree is special. I like these flowers what could be butterflies, or maybe the are butterfly clusters just lucking like flowers. And the tree, is that the wood or are there millions of little creatures covering the thrung and the branches. This is really a picture to look at and find something new all the time. Thats a picture what warmed the heard of the young and the old alike.
Thank ypou for the wishes and Happy St. Patricks Day to you.

First, let me say thank you for posting something worth stopping to look at. I think I have just skipped the last five postings!
This is very good, not to busy and not too bland... Good colors used and I really like the sparkle placed in the green hair. Good job!

I love everything about this painting and would have given it a six star if I could have.

LOL. You are such a crack-up, Angel. If I wrote that in here, you wouldn't have to tell anyone...lol. I thank you so very much for the beautiful review and Happy St. Patty's Day to you! I'm not sure if I feel older than I am, or if I'm older than I feel :))) LOL! Again, thank you, Angel. Good thing no one is here but me, cause I forgot to wear green today :)

This would be great for a children's story book. Of course there had to be a hummingbird and butterflies and blossoms on the tree. I like the fluorescent green of the fairy to make her stand out. The detail in the water reflection is also impressive adding an almost realistic feel in this fairyland.

This is a very eye catching piece and very well done. I love the leaves/flowers on the tree. It really makes it look like spring. The fairy it well done however she seems almost out of place. The textures applied make her look as though she is drawn in and not simply taking a rest. The textures on the bark however are simply phenomenal. You color choices are fantastic and I love the rainbow colors in the sky. Great job!

I'm not sure I understand about the fairies textures. Are you speaking of her wings, because there are no other textures. How else would I have put her in the tree, if she wasn't painted? LOL. I thank you so much for the review, CD, but maybe you could clarify that a little better if you would. Again, thank you! :)

I'm sorry, I should have gone into more detail. I guess it's just that the tree looks so perfect and real and she almost looks fake...I'm not really sure how to "fix" it but it I was to go at it with my pencils I might at more depth and showes to her leg. I think the wings are marvelous, it was just the leg that looks....a bit flat?

This is so wonderful Moonwillow. Your skills at being creative in digital art is very noticeable. This is so imaginative ad colourful, fun and refreshing. St Patrick's Day is special to us too, as it's grandad's birthday and he is 97 years old!
Thank you for creating this image. It is truly beautiful, and I do not have a six to give....as usual!!

Oh, wow, that would be great, but at 97 years old, I have a feeling you're going to end up with a BOOK :)
reply by sarnia2 on 17-Mar-2010
Ah! Well in that case, it's going to have to be a series!
reply by the author on 17-Mar-2010
