This is a nearly pefect shot. Just my old complaint about framing of a subject on this one. I love the clarity, and the wild west feeling to this, but you nipped off the poor fellows horn :) In any case, a lovely photo. try to keep in mind what your framing, and check before you click, unless you wanted this angle, in which case it boils down to my personal peeve. :)

I LIKE THIS ONE VERY MUCH. THE COLOR IS GOOD AS WELL AS THE CONTRAST AND IT IS VERY CLEAR. The ONLY FLAW IS IT SEEMS TO BE A BIT SHORT ON THE LEFT SIDE. IT COULD BE CENTERED MORE SHOWING THE LEFT HORN OR RIGHT HORN OF THE ANIMAL. OVERALL IT IS VERY GOOD.

This is an excellent shot. I love the old west feel that you have given it. The only thing I think I would have done differently would be to give it a serpia type of coloring. But that is a matter of personal taste. Very nice work

John Wayne would have been proud of you and Russell would have used it Im sure in one of his Old West painting. I too look for such things as this when I do western drawings. It captures the hardships the frontier put out for those who fought indians and elemants. Keep it up

Great composition, even if you did just luck upon it while you were out. I'm glad you did this in black and white, color would not have done this picture justice. Nice contrast as well, even if it was scanned on a cheap scanner. Nice work.

I really like the composition of this shot. I wish the scan were better as the noise and distortion is distracting from what is otherwise an excellent shot. Good eye to catch the skull in that grass!
