Wow, this is elegant indeed! Must come first from the scarcity of the colors; second, the richness of the snow charges the trees beautifully; we already have sun and blooming flowers but your image make me feel kind of wintery nostalgic... - cool capture.

Nice composition. Really shows the weight of the snow. interesting lines. Good contrast. Light is blowing out some of your whites.

You get the 6 for the title and for making my day with posting a photo again. Howdy Big sis. Funny weather, we are having floods here in what is supposed to be a dry autumn. Keep the fire going, the red wine open and the good company close. Hope you will be back to your own self as soon as the sun shines again. Xxx

Thank you Baby sis for your most sweet and uplifting words; yes, am still struggling but getting better. I just need to get back out there and take some more pitiful pics! My love to you! XXXX

This is a beautiful photo of freshly fallen snow. I can practically smell the wet woods, and hear the stillness that come after a blanket of snow falls like this. Brings back good memories, and I think that is what photos should do.

YES! The stillness after the snow is simply magical, like the snow brings total silence and cleans up your world---thank you for your great review and your time is most appreciated!

Fine mono work of this snow scene. Well composed and framed. Good exposure. Well sharp. Nice contrast. Strong image of the tree bending with the wind? - Is that snow being blown off the trees or snow falling?

It is huge snow flakes falling and the tree is bending with heavy snow--thank you for your great review, I appreciate your time!

Such a winter picture! Cannot say if it's B&W or not but the snow looks very good like in the 3D format. I like your DOF and detail, lighting and focus but, from my point of view, the composition and visual impact could be a bit more stronger from a slightly different POV if you included a bit more of the fence, it really adds interest to the picture.

What an... unusual... title, lol! I just had to see what it was about :)
There is a lovely focus and storytelling in this work and I love the high contrast of the almost-black tree trunk and white snow. I really like the little fence in the background as well and I think it would look great if there was a bit more of it in the shot. Otherwise a great shot, well done!

Beautiful capture!
Love the gentle curve of this laden with snow tree and photo being black and white.
Great exposure and use of light, which is not easy to achieve with all the reflection of mass of white snow.
Lovely composition and framing.
Very good detail in texture of snow on branches.
Excellent presentation, thank you for sharing.

lol. Great composition with focus to detail and the lighting for this scene is superb. I like the balance in the angle you caught and the black and white intensifies the impact.

Brrrrrrrr! I can feel the cold sitting in a country which has average temp of 110F.The vertical format makes the composition appropriate for the subject matter. The light and shades have come out well.
