Great snow shot. Love the falling flakes, and the snow so heavy it looks about to topple the tree. Good focus, lighting, detail, dof and impact.

So the real truth is you are just off ! ;-p Ok I can believe that. I have not checked yet but when was you previous post and when did you take this shot? 80 degrees and tornados here. It looks like cotton candy landed on your tree. A natural for a b/w photo. Get the camera out again when the flowers bloom. Touched base with Shade a while back, sent him one of my Spring flower shots, he was thrilled, and am sure he would love to see of of yours too!. LOL

Beautiful shot. I love the crispness of the black and white. You can actually feel winter by looking at this. Beautiful composition... great focus here!

Great shot. The subject is so beautiful and looks sooo..heavy with snowy. Great focus and lighting. Nice angle. I think though that the fuzzy snowflakes coming down are a little distracting but other than that the photo is perfect. Great presentation. Thanks for sharing :)

This is a powerful photo depicting nature in its unrehearsed splendor.Composition and lighting is brilliant, the tree in center is conveying that it too is '' tired and wants this white ''crap'' to end!'',stunning photo, love your dof in this also, congrats and thanks for sharing !

Very Nice photo! Nature is just amazing. Great Initial Impact, it hold one's interest. It's a natural black and white without being an actual black and white. Fantastic detail. The background looks like a painting it looks great. Reminds me of era of the past. Great Job low. Thank you for sharing.

lol..... Ok,this almost funny!..I did say almost...lol If it did not hit so close to home I may have had a simple cr*p eating smile on my face.. It is dumping and in some odd way it is beautiful. The stark contrasts and the soft ,quiet feeling is effective. If its a warning for the storm to come and visit on Monday I am going to Arizona... Get the shovel out and say a prayer for the flowers...Dennis

LOL!! Yep, ALMOST funny---If hubby had not been 60 miles away at work this dumping would have made my day---nothing better than huge flakes sitting by a warm fire! Oh, the flowers--we don't plant until after Mother's Day and when everything is getting really beautiful--here come the hail storm--growth starts to recover--here come the deer--every year a different gamble which keep life interesting--often I pray for a dull life--Thank you for your fun review Dennis!

Yes, it is spring in Colorado; we have gotten snow as late in the year as June 7th. Spring snows are the best because you get the benefit of the beauty of large white flakes falling, settling the pollen down then the next day it melts. Thank you so much for your review and your time!

Wonderful incredible winter shot! Since it is looking like a black and white shot, it is so hard to tell if this is the natural colour scheme or if you converted. Regardless, it presents well with good impact with the falling of the snow and the already coated trees in the composition.
