This is a wonderful photo. The colors are vibrant and grabbing viewer's attention. I love the sprinkle of yellow as it makes a goo contrast with the orange of the horse. Nice lighting, focus and fine details. Nicely composed and presented well. Thanks for sharing.

I have seen these horses before but I neve knew the name.
Love your notes. A real memory for you. Love the way the horse seems to be smelling the buttercup in the "long" grass. Thanks for sharing.

This is an interesting little piece of artwork you have chose to share with us. The horse is very decotive, with lovely swells, line marks on it. I think you have capture him really well outside in the medows.

I just love Dala horses. My grandmother is of Swedish ancestry, so there are now six of various colors on our shelves. His bright colors contrast well with the green of the grass. He is well centered and well focused. The only thing else I would have done is to brighten the whole photo a bit. Otherwise, well done.

This horse is a bit hard on the eyes. I like how you arranged it in a patch of greens and yellows, sets off his bright orange color. I think if you softened the grass, maybe by using a slower shutter speed perhaps, the picture won't be so hard on the eyes. Nice forever gift to pass down to your children!

Nice capture with a god centre of interest. The composition is good and the shot is beautifully exposed too.

Thanks for sharing and I enjoyed it.

This is truly lovely and vibrant! I can understand the term "friendship horse" it is a wonderfully adorned painted horse. The setting chosen for it is perfect with the yellow buttercups growing wildly around it making it look more "friendly" in its beauty. Very nice
