You are one of the few actually knowing the song and remember it. Welcome to the club. I was 27 back than, in eastern Germany and longing for that magical feeling of freedom. Thanks a lot for your review.

Very nice mixed media photograph. The images chosen represent the verses of the song very well. The golden tones throughout bring everything together. Excellent compostion. Good lighting, focus, and centering. The lavendar aura on the man in the middle adds to the idea that he is a magic man. Well done.

A fine, artistic collage that draws the eye. Exposure looks good all over. Appropriate soft focus and subdued colour. Would make a good poster. A very pleasing image with highly detailed notes (and the Emglish is better that taht of many other so called 'native' speakers posting on this site! - Phil

He he, it's happen to the best. These typos seem to act on their own sometimes. Cleo :-)

A lovely image .I love the way you have used the windows on the vehicle to display the portraits on and how it relects the sky. I'm unsure why you didn't crop the tiny top right corner of the picture as you have done a wonderful job with the rest of it...striking piece of work.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input. Sadly I don't understand. Why should I crop the right corner. It is part of the reflection on the car. When I crop it it dosn't look like an vehicle window anymore. The bars holding the glass won't be identified as such. But it is important to me that the vehicle is present. It symbolised the motion. Please clarify why you think it should be cropped.
    Thank you, Cleo

I Have no clue about the song or the lyrics. Going strictly by the aesthetics, I would say that this is an interesting composition. But I would have preferred a funkier interpretation for the rock song.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input. I'm sorry but I disagree about the funkiness. I actually don't understand why it should be funky. Maybe we think of different kinds of rock songs here. The song was released 35 years ago. It was a different kind of rock music then it is today. Flower Power was just over and music were looking for new ways. I even know of a couple interpretations without electronic sound, just the old time guitare. There is also the interpretation of an Irish folk band. Of curse there as some new time funky interpretations too, but I like the original better. That is what I used for my interpretation. My collage is based on the Heart and other versions from the 70's and the song lyrics. The lyrics back than were a important part of any song, so I did go by it. If you are interested you will find the Lyrics in my comments.

Thank you for your explanation.I was not aware of the background. Definitely it would be interesting to go through the lyrics.

Having just read the words to the song (never hear it before, thank you for including the lyrics), I think your interpretation is a winner.
Seemless use of medium, great layers, very nice presentation.

Thank you, I appreciate your kind review very much. Not many people seem to know the song. Maybe because it's 35 years of age.
