I love patriotic photos too. I like your picture becuase it captures one of the greatest parts of our country, our children. Take more pics with him, he's adorable.

I think the kid is adorable but i think the tong should be in since it's patriotic, that more of a playful look, I also think the bandana gets in the way it took a few secounds to figure out what the bottom part of the bandana was, since it blands in with the flag. But please keep him smilling, also the shirt folds look weird

If you are going for a patriotic photo, you should first make sure that items in it correctly portray patriotic symbols. The "flag" on the boys head has more than 50 stars on it and a large red border. They are both very distracting. Next, patriotism should be action oriented. Patriotism has never been accurately portrayed as relaxing, laid back and laughing. In future photos please don't show what is up someone's pant leg. Good use of color and focal point, if you want the viewer to look at USA as opposed to the boys face.

This is nice and colorful. There is no question about the theme here. The only thing I might suggest is to remove the date stamp in the upper left.
