I am going to have to start using my tripod more often. The stillness of this scene and the detail of the trees on the shore are really amazing. Nature provided you a great moment and you didn't waste it. Great story. focus, composition, contrast, and the light are all great.

Great photo, so clear and colourful. How wonderful to be able to take this kind of retrospective memory. I aspire to this standard but have a long way to go. Buying a tripod will be a start. Beautiful.

This is heavenly, beautiful !
You have captured a photo so full of warmth and life and reflection and direction.
I am sure your father is so proud. I have never seen the rays of sunset, continuing thru to the land and beyond.
This is the prettiest photo I've ever seen, along with a great message.
