This is a wonderful photo and can't help but laugh at your story! However, this photo appears worth every bit of what you went through because it is amazing in clarity, color, detail and depth! The lighting is great and I wouldn't change a thing! Great job!

Sounds like you had a time getting this. I really like this picture, the colors are very good. Very good focus and texture. Composition is great, I'm not so sure I like the tree in the middle, but that's me. Besides, you had your hands full getting this anyway, no time to up root the tree LOL.

Don't know fer sure if I rate the pcture or the story, as I am a writer on the other side. I use to ride before illness took me and I miss it terribly now. Not the helmet hair!
Reminds me of grandpa's barn and I miss that too, as it still stands, but I never see it anymore.
You must be a hoot, my dearest R-A-L-P-H

This barn is just the right shade of red to make it look authentically real. The type of structure you would expect out in the country. It is perfect for the story you are writing, which makes it all the more interesting. Good choice.

Great shot. Even a greater story with it. The background was what caught my eye. The deep colors stand out against the color of the barn. The perspective of the barn seems to have got lost at points due to age. Still this is a great shot. Like being at home here in Arkansas..

This image reminds me of one of my photography teachers who liked to teach that the most important tool in the photobag is a chainsaw.. To get objects out of the way.. I think its a bit busy in front here.

LOL! Welp, I could only imagine what would have happened to me if I were toting a chainsaw when the cop showed up, guess you didn't take time to read the story. Thank you very much Jondor, for your review!

Deb, I'm never sure which I enjoy more, your photos or your short stories that go along with them. Either way, I do enjoy both very much. I like the composition of this photo and of course the deep red of the barn is an eye catcher.

LowRider your story alone merits a "5"!
Then the fact that you share it public like is just too much and makes me wanna be givin' a "10".
The shot is wonderful with great details and the colors are awesome.
Great DoF with the pretty hillside in the background.
I will fer shur be sharin' the tale of LowRider and the Cop at the next bon fire here in my little town. You can put money on that!!
Classic, thanks for the laugh, the visuals were worth the read and everyone needs a good laugh. Guessin' you can laugh too now since all's well. :)

Worth 5 stars for the story alone!
Lovely shot. The red barn really stands out against the background, reat colours, inviting me to enter and explore. I don't think I could handle the cop so well though.
