This image show what is possible, to do in Photoshop the digital dark room.
Nice light, and the balance and the composition are first rate.
Now to the colors and they all play very nicely together.
And it tells a story, maybe not the same story, but it tells a story none the less.
To me it tells of a girl with hypnotic eyes, and a red bong, and flame. Telling tarot.
Very nicely done.
Thank You for sharing,
D3

Thank you very much for your generous review. Yes you have the story right. Actually it tells the story of the song Dark Lady written by Jonny Durill, sung by Cher.

It's not PhotoShop. I used Digital Image suite ant ArtRage.

I absolutely love the eyes. If you would have cropped it under the yellow and orange that appears to be the nose I think I would have liked so much better. Actually just under the eyes would have worked as well.

Thank you for your kind review. The yellow orange is not the nose. It is a girl dancing. The eyes are body and face less, they are a symbol for the black magic, the subject of the song. This picture is a collage to the story told in the song Dark Lady. The eyes are merged into the picture. The poster is a somehow surreal approach merging the things the fortuneteller in the song is using. If I crop I loose the story. [The song and the story are in my comments]

This is interesting the way you have done it. I like the way the y=eyes are looking at you. The way you have put this together is neat. A very creative picture. Good luck in the contest.

I'm with you. I wouldn't by it either but it wasn't made to hung up on a wall. It is made as illustration to a song. A cover picture and a poster to get attention from the passerby's to draw them in the theater or the music hall.
It seems to me to feed the call of contest.
