I thought this work cleverly portrayed thie little child dreaming. I imagined the little butterfly to be a fairy. The patterns on the bed covers blended and swirled together nicely. Good balance, colour, clarity and focus on primary subject. Good luck in the competition.

Initial impact: the brightest star
Creativity: one child dreams and the star is seen and a butterfly stops by to whisper in the child's ear -- sleep tight little one for tomorrow is another day...
Color Harmony: rich and rewarding to view
Center of Interest: child star
Technical Excellence: this deserves a 6+ rating. I am sorry I am out of these right now...
Technique: outstanding digital art
Story Telling Ability: In a dream a childhood dream where magic butterfly's fly and where a child sleeps under a blanket of checkers and the star burns bright -- child star sleeping tight throughout the night where ever you may be -- blessings...
Lighting: --

as usual trying to call it a night and another great picture comes up. I love this. It is so cute. It is a perfect picture for a little girls room. The little girl in this looks so peaceful and happy and the way you are showing some of the night sky through the blanket..great idea. I am crazy about how you did the sky and all the planets floating like it is what she is dreaming about...

I'd love to know what it means. It makes me think of the old saying "Starlight, star bright..." but it seems peaceful and the butterfly adds bit of whimsey. Like the soft pastels. It would make me "sleep like a baby".

Very nice dream portrayal. Good imagination. Your colors are a good choice and in harmony. Nice presentation of the child's face and butterfly. I see these two taking a trip into space looking back at Earth. 'Enjoyed.

This is a soft, dreamy piece for me - a small child, safe and warm, blissfully sleeping whilst the star looks over her, keeping her from harm.
I really enjoyed this. Good luck in the contest.
