Wonderful clarity in this shot, dont think I would have liked to get that close to it.
Love the colour of her body.
And the detail on her legs.
Is that a drop of rain I see

An upside down tighteope walker! LOL The spider was definately closer than I would have liked, but having a chance to take a picture like this was something I couldn't resist. The raindrops as you say...were the icing on the cake. Thank you for the wonderful review.

Great shot. Marvellous detail, clarity and focus. Good notes & poem. Actually it's a horible looking bugger and I'm glad it's not outside my door, but the detail shown in macro is amazing. Great colours, brilliant backing.

A very nice shot, Focus and depth of field very nicely chosen and controlled. The detail that unfolds with a good macro is a joy to behold. I really enjoyed this one.

A terrific entry for the contest. Excellent macro details, decision to darken the background really makes the finer details on it's legs pop. I like the composition - upside down orientation and the fine hair-like web in the upper left corner - all adds visual impact and comes together nicely. Good luck in the contest!

This is such an excellent macro photograph, really like the light and the clarity along with its tighter composition, also like how you have darken the background, seamless. Well done and all the best, sure we have a winner here.

This is a lovely garden orb weaving spider, and photographed nicely. Even though they are a fat sturdy kind of spider, the aren't poisonous to us, and their webs are more strong than sticky, compared to alot of other spiders. This is nice work, well done. Here is some info for you, do you know why spiders don't get stuck in their own web?...... answer, not all the web is sticky, and they run on the ones that aren't. Thought i would just share that with you.

Nice shot of this spider and I do agree that it looks like it's hanging from the web, good focus and lighting, the dark background makes it pop, good story telling ability and impact thanks for sharing!!
