Great composition and lighting on this image. i love the white bird against the various shades of green for the background. It would have looked better if it had been a little bit clearer as it is slightly fuzzy in spots.

very cool shot. we have a lot of these around the house and I have never seen a baby one before. Im not sure the right name for them. we are cajun and we call the egrets. LOL not sure if that is what they actually are or if thats just some cajun nick name anyway its a beautiful picture

thank you for the nice review . Yes this is an american egret. There is several species. There is also a heron that is about the same size, is white but has a few different features.

I think this is a great shot. I love the bird in the middle of the greens so to me the composition is great.
