This is without doubt the most majestic picture of a bird that I have seen for a long time, standing proud, with the dark feathers running into grey and then that beautiful purple, this is divine.

Good initial impact. Focus is good. Color of the bird is good, although the sky is so blue it almost detracts. Love the purple on his neck! Good job.

Pigeons are a good subject sometimes. The sun here brought out colors that are nice to the eye.
The bird is very sharp, and the detail works here.
