Initial impact; I'm looking at his feet and the stride in his walk. He was moving pretty good pace. Lighting is good. Action is that fast moving bird. Simple presentation. Color harmony is good. Center of interest is this guy hunting for his next morsel of food. Cropping is good. Focus is good. Depth of field is not playing much in this photo.

A very well captured bird image.
That aside:
To me the balance, and composition, both are well placed.
The focus is good and encompasses the entire frame.
The light works well.
I see a creative imagination.
I see technical excellence.
Also I see sophistication in the overall appearance of this image.
I believe that this image carries a high capacity for story telling

Nicely focused. Great cpture of bird on the prowl. I didnt know if he was walking on water or on what apper to be twigs. For some reason would not have thought of sand. Nice composition, color.
