The detail is very good here. The pose is very nice. Very interesting little chap. I'm a little unsure to the background. Depth wise its very good. Everything being blurred well. But the cloning needs tiny touch ups...just under bird stomach area bottom of photo & a little further up . Please dont take this the wrong way just wanted to point it out incase you hadnt noticed. All round great job with the capture & detail

I wish I had more stars to give you for this beautiful capture. You must be a very patient person, which just goes to show pays off. She has definitely spotted you with that wonderful eye contact. The feather detail and coloring is beautiful against the lovely olive green background. I enjoyed this one very much.

Beautifully composed picture with good initial impact.
The focus on the subject and the exposure is excellent and I like how the bird pops out nicely in the muted background.

Lighting is good ambient lighting. Action is the bird watching us and also appears to be eating some. Good bird presentation. Nice color harmony. Center of interest is the finch. Cropping is good and you left lots of room around the bird. Focus very sharp. We are able to see great detail on most of the bird. Depth of field is just blurring out the back ground very nicely. Story telling is in the artist's notes.

This is excellent, wish I had more stars to award you. The focus is sharp and shows good detail in the feathers, good catchlight in the eye and great dof. Cropped to perfection, the colour and lighting are superb showing a very good technique and ability. Wonderful centre of interest and impact presented well.
