I like this shot Willie. I am always fascinated by these little birds that scurry across the edge of the water and fly away just as you get close enough to take their photo. For that reason alone, this capture is miraculous. You got close; he didn't fly away. Bravo.

My first impression is that the focus etc are in order. Then water color is a bit bright for the bird to really show off. A bit of cropping to reduce the water area would also make a significant difference. I like your work and look forward to seeing more of it. Have a great day.
