Hi Willie
Not sure whether it is a moth or a butterfly but it does not matter as it has a very interesting head and that tongue is enormous.
If you found it I wonder how you managed to set it up so well.
The lack of dof is a disappointment if it is under your control.
Framing is excellent as to are the colors.

Thank you so much! This is a butterfly. You can tell the difference from looking at the antina. The mouth has a wide feather look.

I've never seen this insect, but that tongue is amazing - great capture! Nice composition, focus and depth of field, lovely colors, great work.

He may be a big bit yucky, but this is a great shot. You`ve captured terrific detail on his head - those eyes are enormous, and his face is so hairy! You`ve also captured great detail on the flower he`s probing with that enormous tongue. Great colour contrasts and good depth of field bringing our attention to the two centres of interest. Good cropping giving a well-balanced composition. Nature photography at it`s best. Well caught, and thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. This is a butterfly. A lot of people think it is a moth. You can tell the difference between them by looking at the antini.
