This is very good for being simple I think. A nice composition which works well. Very good lighting and excellent colours. Spot on focus and a great centre of interest. It has great impact and shows good ability.

Annie this is excellent. Your idea & execution of this shot has been carried out very well. The pink rose become very crisp & vibrant against the grey monochromes. Its perfeclty in focus. detail is very good. Fills the frame very well & you have controlled the lighting perfectly. Great job

Very creative. I like the reflection of the rose on the dish, but think the flash detracts from the rose. It takes my eye away from the subject. The border on the bowl is in harmony with the way the rose petals work their way around. Nice idea. Thanks for sharing.

It needs something. I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe it is the placement of the rose. Focus is very good. Framing is well done. Move the rose around if you have PS or other software and play with it. Maybe it is just my imagination.
