Lovely shot, great story-telling ability. These kinds of rides are always memorable experiences. Lighting seems a bit dark on the horses and people, but perhaps that couldn't be helped. I love the coloring of the horses and the charm of this shot

Nice shot!
This is a pleasant scene.
I know it is pleasant to look at but when you pay for tickets it is no longer pleasant. I like the way you shot it in the shade. Good job.

This is a nice picture woth a nice story. It has a good COI and good color harmony. Too bad it didn't show up earlier. At least you'll know they're there next time.

Initial impact: interesting horse drawn tram. Lighting: for the subject is pretty poor. Horse and tram presentation. Color harmony: is good. Center of interest: is the horses and tram.
Cropping: is fine. Focus: is fine. Action: You could have walked around to the other side and I think you lighting would have been much better. Waited for them to move and been further down the road where it would have been better. I've seen these and they move on fairly often. The option would to have used a digital darkroom and increased the exposure some. Other things would have been necessary to bring it up to snuff. Depth of field: not in effect in this shot. Story telling is in the title and artist?s notes.
Comments: Good composition and concept.

Thank you very much. This photo was taken in 2006, and both the camera, and hopefully myself, have improved

I sure would hope so. But you could still try some darkroom adjustments, if for no other reason to get better.

Not to your usual standard Annie, The detail is lost on the horses and people in the carriage. It also looks tilted to the left.

Nice find and capture of the horse drawn trolly car. Focus is very good. Framing is well done. At least they are in the shade while waiting for passengers. Nice story.

Really lovely shot, like you say I am sure there was lots to grab a photographer's attention in Stanley Park. The horses I think are the main subject of interest, but there are other points to look at too. I think possibly the lighting could be improved to allow further detail, but that is just me.

Great technique. I want to go for a ride. I would just lighten it up, its too dark to really make out details on the horses. A wonderful choice for a shoot. Thanks for sharing.
